Red Sea Bunkering is delighted to be a part of the Middle East Africa Conference 2024 in Dubai, UAE. This annual event, in its ninth year now, serves as a platform for experts to provide insightful commentary and engage in informed discussions regarding the current issues and complexities affecting the global marine fuel sector. As always, there were be a particular emphasis on analyzing the evolving landscape of the Middle East bunker market.!
The conference also looked at how other geopolitical tensions are influencing the shipping industry. MEBC exarnined potential changes in ship trading patterns in response to the volatile economic climate both globally and regionally. The concept of » de-globalization » was explored as a potential future trend, and its potential implications for various ship segments were closely exarnined.
In addition, The Djibouti delegation had the pleasure of meeting with their collaborators in the bunkering sector, where they engaged in discussions regarding challenges and future trends in the industry. As well, they explored strategies to capitalize on the current situation in the Middle East.
